Window treatment styles and details we favor

Panels with pinch pleats

We love the simplicity of this detail. It looks great in all interior settings from classical to modern.

Panels with grommets

This detail has an opening cut into panel top that is finished with a round metal trim for the rod to pass through. Beach and weekend vibe!

Soft roman shades

Slightly shaped on the bottom, these shades add a bit of softness to a space. Depending on the fabric they can look casual and relaxed.

Flat roman shades

Pure and straight lines, this style has a minimal feel that frames almost any view. We like to mount these taller than the window trim to elongate the overall aesthetic.

Drapery hardware

Thin drapery rods are elegant and architectural looking. 1" to 1 1/4" in diameter is best.

Drapery panel lengths

We suggest a slight "break" at the bottom of panels when they touch the floor. This adds to richness of fine interior textiles.

Panel widths

6" to 12" beyond the window frame is what we prefer. It exposes more of the architecture and makes a fuller looking panel.
